S I N O P S I S

Since losing her son, Tobio, who died in the accident, Dr. Tenma (Nicolas Cage) feels lonely. He then used his expertise to make a robot to create a replacement Tobio. According to figures this Tobio Dr. Tenma then build a robot that then he named Astro Boy (Freddie Highmore).

Unfortunately, it was Astro Boy can not replace Tobio which she loved. Astro Boy can not grow to adulthood and do not have emotions like human beings. Disappointed with the results of his creations, Dr. Tenma then decided to 'throw' Astro Boy is starting to feel that Dr. Tenma is his father.

Astro Boy who feel disappointed later involved a series of adventures that only made him more 'adult'. But the adventures of Astro Boy must be terminated because of Metro City, where the 'father' lives are in danger now. Armed with a sense of 'love' to her father and ability that he can during the adventure, Astro Boy is ready to return to protect Metro City from all threats.
