S Y N O P S I S

Although already gained popularity does not mean education then it's no good. That thought David Seville (Jason Lee) who send Alvin (Justin Long) and his two friends to a school to re-learn, something that had never occurred to Alvin.

Reluctantly forced to Alvin, Simon (Matthew Gray Gubler) and Theodore (Jesse McCartney) wishes David even though they have absolutely no interest to go back to school. In a short time Alvin and his two friends feel alienated in the midst of the people in this school and it is a heavy punishment for a third of this chipmunk.

At the same time, Ian Hawke (David Cross) who failed to get Alvin and the Chipmunks try to make up this loss by finding a group of animals who can sing and dance like Alvin and his friends. Ian quest ended when he found a member of The Chipettes Brittany (Anna Faris, Jeanette (Christina Applegate), and Eleanor (Amy Poehler). Ian plans to bring The Chipettes to the summit of fame like Alvin and his two friends.
